Design of the Defect Detection Software

Our company developed technical specifications and selected appropriate algorithms for detecting defects in fuel elements of nuclear reactors. A fuel element consists of three layers – two aluminum outer layers and a uranium internal layer. The application is designed to identify distortions of aluminum shells and uranium density defects.
